Essential Duties
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders
- Work closely with developers and customers to ensure an accurate understanding of how business processes and requirements get translated into design and specifications
- Create schedules, project estimates, reports and provide management status updates
- Perform manual testing of development tickets (functional, regression, integration testing)
- Coordinate and execute test plans for projects, ensure test cases and results meet requirements
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in specifying, analyzing and documenting requirements for business applications in a web/client-server environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience working with Bugs, Task and Test management systems (e.g. JIRA)
- Understanding of waterfall and agile project management methodologies
- Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
- Enthusiasm to proactively coordinate and take action within a team environment
- Ability to work in a decentralized team and communicate using virtual communications tools
Nice To Have
- Experience with Office, SharePoint, Jira, Slack, Figma, database query tools
- Light experience with User Interface and User Experience design
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field from four-year College or University.
